store graphics are missing

My store graphics are missing.

Also when I click my store it says that this page does not exist.

I can get to my store by clicking nto an item first.

Not real sure how this is affecting my sales.

Please fix.

srsly.....I have over 1500 items and to do re put them in the correct places is going to take forever

Alan, I removed my store photo (even though it's been the perfect size for 3 years), edited it to meet the px criteria you mentioned, and it is still HUGE...made no difference whatsoever. I could put in a 1 x 1 and it would still be wall-to-wall gigantic 😞   Put my original photo back in and will continue to wait for resolution...sigh.

Your image is 743 x 846 px. To fit you would need to shrink the 846 down to 270. Even if you do that it might stretch and skew your image horizontally because it's a portrait shape, not a banner shape. You would have to test it.

The field is meant to hold a banner shaped image. In the past it would auto-shrink a portrait but now it will stretch the width of the image to fit the page. That means portraits and squares are going to expand as you're seeing in your store.

You need to use a banner shaped image that is proportional to the max dimensions of 1200 px wide by 270 px tall.

As I said in my reply to Alan, I've already done that! Edited the photo in Paint to the correct specs (down to 270), loaded said pic into store and STILL HUGE and quality was way worse. This same thing happened at the beginning of May and it was fixed within 3 days of calling CS...SAME photo I've had for 3 years 743 x 846px. Then low & behold it reverted to Huge again 4 days later. Doesn't matter what size or what view you put in, it's gonna be HUGE.

Like other sellers, I'm having big problems with MY STORE

Please fix my store colors that have disappeared.

Please fix my categories that are missing since 2 weeks!

My buyers cannot search my CATEGORIES !! I'm paying 1 year subscription to have all that is missing!

You shrunk to 270 vertical or horizontal? Shrinking the horizontal to 270 would have the result you described above. Shrinking the vertical to 270 will either fix it or it will stretch the image out horizontally - no way to know unless you test it.

Did you crop the image or add a solid block to the sides to make it banner-shaped?

eBay rolled out the new layout earlier in May and there were a lot of bugs so they reverted back to the old layouts. That is why you experienced this a couple of weeks ago and saw it change back to normal 3 days later. Now eBay has rolled out the new layout again so your lead image will need to be changed to a banner to work with the new layout. There is no other fix for this.

I was so frustrated from editing that darn pic every which way and was about to burst into tears when my sweet husband read your post, understood what to do, calmed the eBay-born-beast within me, and there was peace on earth (the parcel we own anyway).  🙂

My store banner is so small now and my colors have changed. I hate these changes and it has really affected sales.  How can I get my banner back to go across the top of my storefront page?

My husband did all the work, but I know that my new banner has these dimensions: 1200 px wide by 270 px tall. Hope that helps! ~Sherry

You don't have a banner, you only have the smaller logo. Go to the link below. There are options for Billboard (which is the banner shaped image you want) and Logo (which is a smaller square image that you are using). Upload your banner image to the Billboard field. @ravenent

I had a banner and it used to be big before the changes but thanks so much for this link! The display setting link in manage my store does not work so I could not add the larger file for my banner. It is very big now but better than before. Thanks!

Hi Alan,

This happened to our store last month and it greatly impaired our store impressions and sales until I recognized there was an issue. eBay's tech team had the issue fixed in 2 days and I was grateful but now this month our listings are not showing up in searches and our steady sales have declined to 1 in the past 2 weeks which is VERY abnormal. I've called eBay 3 times in the past 2 weeks and each time am passed around, promised an email update. 2 tickets have been submitted- customer service and eBay tech team have admitted that this is a glitch on eBay end- many stores are apparently experiencing. However, no know solution to the "bug" as of yet? Perhaps you can shine some light? Any help is really appreciated. This store is my sole income and after 6 years of selling- this month is our record worst. In desperate need of some help. Thanks

Hi Alan,

I am having the same problem. I have never seen sales this low and can't find many of my listings when I search Ebay. I can't even search in my own store now. The store search box is gone and not sure why since this is the most important tool for my customers finding my items.  The new box at the top which says search this store lets me do one search then I try another search and it searches all of Ebay and does not include my items.  I have been selling on Ebay since 1997, and have never seen it this bad.  I don't see how these changes are supposed to help people with Ebay stores.   My customers are taken out of my store to search other sellers listings and not mine.   I really don't know what to do or how to get help from anyone at Ebay?
