shifting a listing to my drafts folder

Some of my 30 day listings go without generating much interest, and I would like to park them in my drafts folder for a while, give them a rest, and clean up my Active listings lineup.  Part of the reason for that is to feature a certain class or type of goods in a group for a while, e.g.,  fountain pens, and I don't want potential buyers to have to wade through a bunch of stuff of no interest to them, e.g., model railroad instruction books,  in order to see my pens.   I think that would be a turnoff to someone who clicks on 'See Seller's Other Items'.  I have not seen a way to shift a listing into the Drafts folder.  ???  When the listing runs out, the only option i see is to "Relist".  Any suggestions?

Drafts are new listings that haven't been activated yet. It is not possible to move a listing from your active, Completed, or Sold section into your drafts.  You could create a new draft by using Sell Similar.

But that's not really necessary. When a listing ends (either when its time is up or if you use the End option), it will be in your Unsold section in My ebay for 60 days (90 for Selling Manager) and you can go there when you want to to relist it.

There is no way to do so I am aware of, and I'm not sure why you would want to do that.

You can end any listings you want to "park and give a rest".

When the listings end normally or when manually ended, they go into "Unsold", and remain there for 90 days if using Seller Hub, or 60 days using My eBay (30 days for one variant of eBay Unsold?).

Drafts may only stick around for 30/45/60 days (not certain about that timeframe, may vary depending on SH or My eBay, and it has changed over the years).

If you are looking to store listings for longer than that (like only pulling up seasonal Christmas stuff once a year) then you need to use Turbo Lister, one of the online subscription services like SixBit or Wonderlister, or play difficult games using the eBay interface.

You can shift an ended listing to drafts by relisting it, but not completing the relist, and choosing save as draft. One at a time. No bulk method I know of.

No idea if drafts stick around longer than the timeframe I mentioned if periodically revised before expiring, or if the initial 30/45/60 day counter is gospel.

@ed333

You can also 'Save to inventory' from your ative listings page. An 'inventory' item is a different animal than a draft, but could serve the same function. You can only have a limited number of drafts. You can have many more inventory items.
