Some of my 30 day listings go without generating much interest, and I would like to park them in my drafts folder for a while, give them a rest, and clean up my Active listings lineup. Part of the reason for that is to feature a certain class or type of goods in a group for a while, e.g., fountain pens, and I don't want potential buyers to have to wade through a bunch of stuff of no interest to them, e.g., model railroad instruction books, in order to see my pens. I think that would be a turnoff to someone who clicks on 'See Seller's Other Items'. I have not seen a way to shift a listing into the Drafts folder. ??? When the listing runs out, the only option i see is to "Relist". Any suggestions?

Drafts are new listings that haven't been activated yet. It is not possible to move a listing from your active, Completed, or Sold section into your drafts. You could create a new draft by using Sell Similar.
But that's not really necessary. When a listing ends (either when its time is up or if you use the End option), it will be in your Unsold section in My ebay for 60 days (90 for Selling Manager) and you can go there when you want to to relist it.

You can also 'Save to inventory' from your ative listings page. An 'inventory' item is a different animal than a draft, but could serve the same function. You can only have a limited number of drafts. You can have many more inventory items.
