Is there a way to delete items that you have entered in the "drop down" search? Some are not needed and I would like to delete them, but can't figure out how to do that. Can someone please help me with that?

If I understand what you are referring to, it's the autocomplete entries your browser stores for text input boxes like eBay search.

When the dropdown appears and an entry you don't want is highlighted, hit the delete key and it will be removed. Use the up and down arrow keys to select others you no longer want and use delete key to remove. Repeat as needed.
