Just checked one of my items and noticed the dreaded " to see full description " button is back. Ebay must of hired one of the old programmers back?

The reason is the Turbo Lister icon at the bottom of your listings. Remove that from your 16 affected listings. To find those listings, you can scan with this tool.

Or eBay will find them for you here:

It's the new "security" protocols update eBay says that Google "mandates". All http links within a listing must be adjusted to https.
(At least, that's what clears it for us - although there are still issues.)

Huh? It's driving me crazy.. I like to scroll up & down between photos & description... Not click back & forth...

Its worse then the HTTPS issue stated.
That is in effect aswell.
My listings using the eBay affiliated Froo Apps template desgins are also showing up as a click to see full description.
No HTTPS error.
Any word eBay?

I dont have any answers, just looking for help. I dont know how to adjust to https . Anyone know how to do it and willing to tell me? I am a little old granny , I have been selling on Ebay for 12+ years and the longer I work at this the less I make. Sofar I have cancelled everything that was not helpful to me , most likely the next thing to go will be my store , but would like to make it thru this winter season as I have purchased inventory in spring/summer that I need to sell.
Like so many others, I have become tired of the many demands that Ebay puts on its " independent contractors" . Ebay used to be fun, but its become a chore with endless updates, and new and not so seller friendly regulations.
I sell mostly used clothing , there is next to no margin of error ( for returns ) . I believe that most sellers on Ebay are honest and will do the right thing, but Ebay is hellbend to help out the sharpies who fully take advantage of Ebays free and easy policies.
Thanks for listening, and hopefully some one has an answer to my problem.

This message is from eBay back in July regarding the problem, so they do in fact know exactly what is happening and why. But, we don't!: Hey everyone, just wanted to clarify that this is not an error but is an intentional test we are running. We've had success over the last year with this description view on Mobile and are testing a small number of buyers accounts to present this view on desktop. You can check that your descriptions are optimized for mobile and that you have removed any active content to ensure the best descriptions are being provided to your buyer on every platform. Only a very small number of accounts are being tested at this time, so we do not anticipate any negative impact to your business. This test will conclude in the coming weeks and we will review the results before making any permanent changes.

That feature is applied to seller listings that contain non-secure embedded content like images, videos, or stylesheets that are hosted from a non-secure server and that are embedded within the listing. eBay provides the one-click-away option because the new browsers will block that content from displaying within the listing. Sellers can get around that issue by addressing those embedded elements.

I see several different provider icons or stylesheets causing problems. Those can be changed from http to https.
imagehost.vendio.com/
spicyauctiontemplates.com/
Do you have a listing number with the Froo template? Perhaps they have an error in an external stylesheet.

That test back in July was in preparation for the new browser security changes that Chrome would be bringing into effect mid-October. Now that the Chrome update is here, eBay has implemented the change.
Any seller descriptions containing embedded content that is not delivered from a secure server will be blocked by the browser. To prevent that, eBay has decided to open description in a non-secure page where it will not be blocked. Affected sellers can eliminate the one-click-away issue by addressing the non-secure elements within their descriptions.

Thanks. Since that post, I have figured out that Froo is causing problems in my listings. I am still working on the listings one by one as I tried the bulk edit and it keeps getting 'hung up'. I went through my posts one by one months ago to comply and here I am with another issue. It is getting really old.

You do have a slightly older Froo gallery. You might want to contact them and ask that they update their gallery in your listings.
