"Access Denied" error yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know this has been brought up again and again....

but i am yet to see or find a suggestion that works to solve this issue. i can browse ebay, buy, sell all the usual stuff, i am trying to open a case against a seller in regards to an item that arrived damaged, i can get to the page to enter all the details, add photos etc, when i hit request a return button i am redirected to a page where it says access is denied blah blah blah.

can anyone assist?

i have tried on pc using multiple browsers, mobile browser both on wifi and mobile data, mobile app with wifi and data. turning pc on and off, clearing cookies, cache etc etc, turning router on and off, reseting the router, been into router settings. nothing helps.

any other input greatly appreciated as i would like to open this case as soon as possible.

@daz_aii   When that glitch hits the best thing to do is contact CS so they can help you get the return case processed.  You can also report the problem at the same time

@daz_aii   Sorry I didn't catch that you were on the wrong site.   Log out of ebay.com clear your cookies so you don't get sent to the USA for a visit again then contact the UK site help

There are quite a few references to "Access Denied" errors on the UK community site -- it sounds like you are not the only one experiencing this.

Some of the recent suggestions include waiting a day to try again, changing your IP address, going through paypal for a refund instead of eBay, and not including any names or addresses in the resolution centre message.

Perhaps EBay's website is set up to do this error so we can't make a claim.  I can't make my claim either.

Been trying all morning.  Guess we just put it to credit card dispute huh Ebay?

I have tried like 10 times now and it keeps saying "You're not authorized to access this server". 

Then Ebay and PayPal wonder why we had to notify our credit card for a charge back yet again.

Spent from 2 hours with Ebay today trying to get a claim started.

The Ebay Rep lady did try every thing as I have been doing.  Would look at certificates be accepted, allowing certain functions to make sure their all clicked under Google Chrome.  Clearing cookies.  Uploaded another web browser.  Even looking to google and Microsoft with Restriction code to seek information of why it keeps saying : Your not authorized to access this server.   Ebay couldn't even help me either.  So now I'm told to reach Microsoft.  Their website has a robot for ask a question to seek help.  I will have to wait until Monday and waste more of my day trying to do this 1 claim by calling Microsoft for a human being on the phone to help.

By the way over at Amazon, it's one click of a button and a return label is issued.
