problem added watched items that ended to custom lists

Previously I was able to go into a watched item that ended, click on the item, click on "see original listing" then go to the drop down menu to add it to one of my custom lists.  Then when I went to that custom list it would be there. Now when I try that -- even though it says that it added it to my custom list -- when I go to that list it's not there.  It's been doing this for many weeks now and I just kept hoping it was a glitch and would work itself out, but it hasn't and just wanted to know if anyone has figured out what's going on and can shed some light?

I do not think eBay currently allows ended items to be added to another list. Not sure if this is new or not.

Only current active items can be moved or added to another list.

Most ended items that are not relisted automatically disappear after ninety days, so adding an ended item to another list is of limited usefulness. If the item is relisted manually, so that a new item number is used, you can add the relisted item to one of your lists using the "view relisted item" link in your Watch List, as long as you do that before the original listing expires and is removed.
