I got rid of it! Blue Kai is a sneaky beacon that tracks you, and it's owned by Oracle. So all of ebay's ads that are tracking you are probably using the tracking beacon, Blue Kai. What you need to do, is get an ad blocker. If that doesn't work, also install a malware detector. They should do it. Try Malewarebytes along with ghostery and Ublock. Or even Adblock. Set up some filters. I've had enough of Ebay's obnoxious popups. They are they worst site for this. I'm shopping here less and less for this reason!

If using Windows, add stags.bluekai.com to your HOSTS file and it will cease to exist as far as your computer is concerned.

You want an entry of the form:

127.0.0.1   stags.bluekai.com

Syntax must be correct, and HOSTS file blocking only acts on EXACT domains/subdomains with no wildcarding possible. So to block everything bluekai, you would have to have individual entries for bluekai.com, stags.bluekai.com, www.bluekai.com, 1.bluekai.com, and so on for all the zillion subdomains they might have (you just add them as they become an annoyance and as you discover them). In this case, that single stags.bluekai.com entry should fix your particular issue.

None of the suggestions are good for a Mac user. I've tried them all, I believe. Mac "Mavericks" user running Safari. Why can't Stags.Blueskai use a valid image license? Seems like the solutions are to ask the thousands of users to make adjustments, rather than address the source issue.

There's a problem, eBay isn't fixing it, so you either work around it or live with it.
