as in thread called 'Checkout issues with Paypal' this problem is NOT over.
Identical symptoms to what others described and I know what I'm doing, I'm a pc guy on windows since 3.11 (1994), although I'm on 7 now as the never ones are telemetry spyware viruses, not OS's.

Have you tried any of the workarounds suggested in that thread?
Once you have successfully gone through checkout, you may be able to reinstate your ad blocking and cross site tracker blocking, if that was the issue.

I have the same problem, I did get it to work when I disabled some add ons in my Firfox, It looks like it was adblock plus, I had to turn it off all the way...to check out and also had to sign into paypal on a different window first to get it to work, Lot of work just to shop on Ebay, No wonder I have only had 1 same this month..... I was a windows 7 user as well. I did not go to windows 10.... I went Linux... Hope this helps.....

hi, thx for the input eburtonlab but yes of course I have tried, I wasn't going to relist it all as the thread is already full of people writing the same thing over and over.
I haven't tried disabling my adblocker (u origin) but I wouldn't consider that a solution to give up freedom and privacy (might as well jump to the win 10 **bleep**storm then and bend over... not gonna happen, it almost stopped me building pc's after 20+ years as I could not warrant basic hardware anymore that works perfectly one day and stops the next day after a forced win10 'update').
I'm in firefox and history is disabled too ('never remember history', my choice) and I must say, since months I can't see anymore if an object is in my 'watch list' (bleu bar on top showing when on object page) without going to my watch list to check.
Also since months (same time?) the max items in the watch list has been able to surpass 200 (beforehand it stopped at 200 or when it got above, it started to bug). I also have items in a seperate list (the lists you can create). I haven't checked if that could have something to do with it.

Try disabling your ad blocker temporarily to see if you can check out. If you can complete checkout, you can re-enable it.
Some users have recommended adding pay.ebay.com and paypal.com to your ad blocker's whitelist. You should not have to give up ad blocking on eBay just to check out.

The missing blue bar on the item page when an item is added to the Watch List has been a problem since October. It seems to be only a problem for the Watch List -- other lists retain the blue bar.
I do not recall when exactly the number of items allowed on the Watch List was raised to 300, but it has been a while. I had noticed similar issues in the past when watching more than 200 -- I experienced problems deleting multiple items at that point. Those problems went away when I got below 200 items again. But lately I have been watching more than 250 items and have not had any problems deleting multiple items.
The PayPal checkout issue is likely something else entirely. Possibly eBay or PayPal has changed something, and that change causes problems for certain users with ad blockers or certain enhanced privacy settings, since changing those settings seems to allow the checkout to proceed for many users.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to confirm that we are investigating this issue now and I have added all of the impacted users from this thread to our report. I don't have an estimated time for a fix at the moment, but will touch base if I need more info from anyone. In the meantime, make sure there is nothing wrong with your PayPal account (address, card on file, etc.) and that you PayPal login info is up to date. Try logging in to the regular PayPal site with the same account information to double check, and to ensure there is no account issue on PayPal's end that could be interfering with payment. Lastly, clear your browsing history/cache/cookies and attempt payment again. Some members may find checkout is successful when using a different browser, by trying to check out on a desktop or the mobile version of the site (whichever you were not using originally), or by logging into eBay.ca and completing checkout there. Be aware if you buy the item on eBay.ca, any potential issues with your purchase would be addressed on eBay.ca going forward.

Do you have any updates on the status of this widely reported issue? Has this been fixed or when will it be fixed?

Please add me to the list as well. I'm selling items, but my buyers have been unable to pay via Paypal so I'm losing money. I've checked and rechecked my Ebay and Paypal accounts to make sure things are correct on my end. I'm not going to list on Ebay again until this is resolved.
