the new shipping format still has many bugs in it, to make it worse, when you click "go back to classic mode" more often than not, you get an error page saying that it is not available and to check back later. Useless!
here are a few things that need fixing on the new screen.
a. the default shipping method is shown as what ever the user selected when buying. ie ground or priority whatever. However, it is difficult to change the shipping service, not intuiative. Example: buyer chose retail ground
the checkbox shows priority padded envelope.. (where did that come from) the weight is 60 pounds, the diminsion are way over that type of service. you have to click on show more at the bottom of the screen to even see any shipping services that might be suitable for the shipment. took a long time to just find that link at the bottom.
now , change the shipping service to priority large box . and the rate comes up, and the label prints. correctly, but the "view order details" shows the tracking number but shows retail ground not priority .... no way to change that.
I need to print a 2nd label , but could not find any place to do that, after hunting around, and going to the all sales page, I finally found a link to print a 2nd label . so **bleep** frustrating, the classic screens flowed smoothly and let you print a 2nd label easily with out going back though your sold listings and finding alink in the dropdown. who would even look there.
then to top it off the "order details page" shows that as ground retail also even though it was a regional rate A box and bought with that service.
So. in a nutshell, when you roll out a new interface, make sure all the same features are easily found on the new screens, this rollout is missing several things, 2nd label, showing the wrong shipping service selected, showing the order details with the wrong shipping service, making it difficult to change the shipping service and even when you do, all the other screens still show the old shipping service. makeing you put in dimensions for a package that is smaller than a regular priority box.. for media... just eats up time.
Please fix your interfaces, I hate the new shipping screen, but if everything worked as it did in the classic I would love it. but you are missing links, made it harder to change anything, and the defaults are dubious as they are very often wrong even thought the listing and the buyer chose a different service. It just gets bit - bucketed.
what am I missing.
