I am so disgusted with 12 of the most insane years ever. Now, metrics! Perfect! I call eBay, sit on the phone for over an hour listening to, "please hold" for over an hour. eBay has become a monster! Count eBay's mistakes against me, and then change me more? I am talking to an attorney about this! Their system makes errors, and we pay for them. Maybe, and this is just a BIG MAYBE, but if customer service actually followed through on a problem. I am Top Rated, now, my metrics are the highest. Why? eBay allowing people to open or threaten to open a case. I found eBay believes my bank account is theirs. Charging fee's on tax? That can't be legal, either. Think about this, you accept a return because that's your policy, it counts. There is nothing worse in this life than being judged by someone who screwed it up in the first place!

The way you wrote this makes it sound like you are speaking to an attorney because eBay has lousy customer service. If that were a reason to hire an attorney then pretty much every corporation out there would be involved in lawsuits on a daily basis. Sorry, I realize you are venting but it struck me as funny the way you wrote that. Online selling to prefect strangers isn't easy, and not everyone is cut out for it. Best of luck to you....

Thank you, I appreciate that. After all, I have been selling for almost thirteen years now. And, no, I wouldn't speak to an attorney! Yes, you are right about one thing, I was venting about Customer Service, not the people, the corporate. I see absolutely no reason to call, report a buyer who wants most of the money back, (not through eBay either) because FREE earrings were given, as a nice gesture. When she couldn't get her way, she reported me to eBay. Over the past twelve years, I have watched eBay grow to its metric system. Now, if the site has a problem, it is the seller who is responsible. That is not right to charge an extra fee. I also disagree with fees on sales tax and shipping. Good luck to you.
