message on selling screen from buyer does not show up in messages nor in my email

my sell screen lists an inquiry from a buyer but when i go to messages that message isn't there. nor did i get an email like usual.

and as far asi can tell, there is no way for me to  contact this potential buyer.

Can you follow the link from the user's username to the profile or feedback page?

Is the user still registered? If so, you should be able to contact that user from that profile or feedback page.

1) no - the its not a link of the "sell" screen

2) so i cant determine if they are still registered. unless there is a way to look up by their code

I am not familiar with the particular page you are referring to, but can you see the actual username?

If you know the username, you should be able to reach that profile page; just go to any profile page such as your own, and paste that username over yours in the page address, then hit the return key to reload the page.
