Why is it so difficult to try something out before pushing it on us! Promotion is a promotion and NOT a sale......it doesnt work anyway whatever you call it.  Markdown sale menu on lewft is where to look to create a sale. If you want to create a promotion (upper right) thats entirely something else.

That create a promotion is NOT a useful tool as it only puts the banner on the bottom and does NOT  advertise the sale price in search so how is a buyer suppose to know its even on sale unless they click on the item and scroll down to the bottom of the page.  Useless, best just to wait 14 days and try markdown manager again or send stuff to auction
