listings with links - not working on FireFox or Chrome

I use the following line of code (address changed to be generic) ...

<a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com/62.html">CLick Here ... yourwebsite - Info & Pics!</a>

I always add my listings in HTML option.

I recently noticed that the links no longer work when viewing the listings in FireFox or Chrome. They still work fine in InternetExplorer, though. Odd that Microsoft would have the only browser still accepting the code.

Anyone else notice this? It has to be a recent phenomenon. I've been using this type of code for years with no problems on any browser. What goes?

Thanks to anyone with an answer!

You can no longer have offsite links in eBay listings.
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-policies/links-policy?id=4248

You can embed offsite photos in the description: <img src="https://www.yourwebsite.com/imgages/example.jpg" width="320px">
but they can not be clickable links (like embedded thumbnails clickable to load offsite lager image), and must be HTTPS and not HTTP.

eBay might warn with an error when listing, and the listing not then allowed to go live, or if listing goes live, the links might be neutered after the fact on the fly when the listing is displayed to a buyer. Possible that the neutering is browser dependent, and just isn't happening when viewed with IE.

If you continue to embed offsite links in your listings, the eBay bots may eventually start finding them, and you might get a warning email, or the listings might eventually be taken down (eBay has been gradually tightening enforcement over the last couple of years since the links and active content policies were announced, after allowing seller times to get things fixed to comply. Viewers can also report the listings for links policy violations.

Thanks for the answer, Berserkerplanet. Basically, just more pathetic feebay garbage. I really have no idea why I would even bother anymore. -TS
