issue with usps first class labels printed from ebay?

i've been having trouble with USPS first class international labels on both friday and today so i wanted to check if anyone else is having this issue:

i'll print labels using ebay's bulk label system for both domestic and international shipments.  however, on some of the international labels (printed through ebay system), the labels aren't attached/associated with the item number.  when i look at the 'labels' page, the labels are there, but there are no items associated with them.  therefore, ebay still shows that i need to ship the items and upload tracking.  i've tried to upload the tracking manually in ebay, but i get an error.  i've uploaded the tracking through paypal, but that's not linking back to ebay.  i can simply mark the item as shipped without tracking, but i think it's hurting my seller performance (not uploading tracking %).  i've also called ebay a few times...they see the issue, but they haven't been able to resolve nor offer any help.

anyone else have this issue come up?  thanks

I've shipped several items USPS over the last few days with no issues.   If you can try a different device or computer.  If that's not possible, reboot (not restart, actual shut down wait 60 seconds and power on) and then try with a different browser.   If that doesn't help clear your internet and browser histories and restart.   You could also trying to force the browsers to open in "safe" mode to disable any plugins that might be "helping" you.

That's all I can think of.

I am having the exact same issue with just one international shipping label I printed today.

Just as you stated, I cannot add the tracking number manually and the item number is not associated with the label for some reason.

I know that if this label counts against me as uploading late, I will not have TRS in September. I am already at the threshold.  😞

I've been having the same problem. For some of the international items, everything works fine. For others, I get the same problem as you. It appears that the tracking numbers for some of the international labels have been recycled from recent uses, so ebay won't let you upload them because they are associated from another use. I don't know if the fault is with ebay or the USPS, but I'm inclined to believe that the problem is with USPS because the tracking function on usps.com has been down for most of the day.

How do you know that reused tracking numbers is causing the problem? Is there an error message that says that?

USPS has been reusing tracking numbers for a long time. That was confirmed 10-15 yers ago by posts in the forums, and I have seen it happen myself. One tracking number for a package I received a few years ago has been reused at least twice since then.

Haven't experienced this issue..
How frustrating eBay isn't able to offer a solution...yet?
Another time sux issue for the hardworking seller.
If it were me, I'd be batching all affected items, then calling eBay and expecting customer service to manually enter each item's tracking number.
However, you have physical proof with on time performance, since PayPal records the tracking number and timestamp.

Aug 21 USPS, server issues.   No details. 

For me, two postal locations were unable to complete any international

financial transactions,

 A 3rd location had slow internet, but was able to complete

the financial transaction for one international shipment. 

I'm totally guessing, the total eclipse messed with satellite(s). 

Not sure what the USPS server status is for today, Aug 22.

I am having similar issue with 1st-Class International Shipping with 2 packages, on today and one yesterday. Prints the label just fine, but somehow the info isn't getting picked up by eBay. I don't think this is a USPS issue, I think it is another eBay glitch! The shipping label shows as being printed under "Shipping Labels", but when I try to add the tracking # manually it states that # has already been used for another package, but I still think that is an eBay error. I have manually added the custom's # (all that is available for tracking a 1st-Class International package over at Paypal, but that isn't fixing the problem. eBay is showing one package as late shipping and the other one will be counted late as of tomorrow. I have rebooted my computer, but does not fix the issue, cleaned the cache- no help, I will try using another browser to see if that works, this is a problem eBay should fix ASAP!

I am having the same issue too.  At first I thought I made a mistake, so I voided the label and created another one.  Nevertheless, same issue happened to the 2nd one as well.  Now I am wondering, can I use the label?  Anyone knows?

same issue here. printed the second label and didn't work. voided the second label and mailed out with first label. called Ebay and advised to send the message to buyer with tracking number. was also told that they are working on the issue.

Ya, me. Just wait till it affects you performance level. You may get your money back for no label. But it will dink you % and lower your performance level after a few of those. Then it will cost you more for shipping. With little to no help in trying to correct it with someone in Southeast Asia on the phone. I know because I have been fighting it for 2 1/2 months.

Mean, but maybe you can cry to someone in Southeast Asia on the phone that will not help you with your performance level loss. I have been trying for 2 1/2 months to straighten out a no label printing mess.

Are the tracking numbers different. If so one will be held against you for not up loading, scan, on time. Affecting performance level. Ebay Southeast Asia Call Center cant help, but they will be glad to transfer your call.  I have had a mess for 2 1/2 months. Ebay will not fix it and it just socks my performance level, which cost me money. Wa, wa. There system does not work in favor of seller.
