I have a recent buy awaiting shipment. I looked at the seller's info feed about shipping time and it says "ships 0 days after payment" does that mean same day or not at all??? Ebay estimated delivery is 5/15 to 5/20. My concern is the seller's feedback is LESS THAN 98% positive and lower than I usually like to even deal with, preferring 99.4% or better.
UPDATE Ebay MUST be solely in charge of the contents in that section of "contact seller" page!! The "when will my item ship" answer is now in that page marked " your item shipped May 13" My purchases from 2 entirely different sellers are now marked "shipped May 13" in the contact seller page regarding when shipment will occur. I do not know what the second seller's page was originally marked re shipping time.
The time to look at handling time and a sellers feedback is BEFORE you buy. I have never seen handling time of zero days. Can you post a screenshot of that? It could mean same business day. 🤷🏻
No, I am an old desktop user only and have forgot more about computers in the 20 years since retirement than I ever learned in the 36 years I supported them. I chose to accept the seller's low feedback score since I wanted the exact item advertised. The listing detail did not and rarely ever shows handling time at all anymore for any seller. I went to the contact seller box to inquire if they intended to be as slow in shipping as ebay estimated and there were 3 prerecorded answers about shipping and the ships in 0 days was one of them. I do not do screenshots any more. I have had a gut full of technology already since 1969. I even use a flip phone for old people now at 80 y.o. My question is/was "ships in 0 days" same day or never??
I am aware of the required wait times before INR is possible. Feedback is a percentage of positive in the past 12 months on anyone's page. If you are a regular seller and more than 20 out of a thousand in the past year were not satisfied (98% positive) with your service, there is room for improvement.
