freezing while browsing

While browsing I will brose about 15 to 20 pages (gallery setting) and then my system will just sit and spin when trying to click onto the next page.  I can only brose a limited number of pages and then I have to shut down and wait a few hours before I can browse again?  I have cleared the cache and cookies--any other suggestions?

What browser are you using? Is it the latest version?

Any difference if you enable or disable add-ons such as ad blockers?

Do you have the same issue if you use another browser?
