Ever since the recent eBay updates, when I tick the "Send copy to my email" box nothing goes to my inbox. Since I often include important information for buyers I can only assume that it is (or is not) going to the buyer.
It happens when I send personal invoices and when I acknowledge payments. I have tried all the places where the email box can be ticked. In some cases it takes me to my eBay Messages, where the message does not show up. Other times nothing happens at all. Customer Service could not help. I have checked my notification settings and found no reference to the matter. By the way, I have been an eBayer since 1999 and have always sent personal messages to my buyers. What's going on?

There are many places on the seller web site where check-boxes get ignored with no warning. I have found that Internet Explorer is really bad with not seeing a check box is checked and in some cases not even doing anything when the "send" button is pushed.
Normally this problem can be solved by using a different browser like Chrome or Edge. It requires some trial and error.
I have a list of different actions that require a specific browser to work. There are cases where I have to use 3 different browsers to fully complete creating new listings the way i want them. It would be nice if eBay web programmers would quit using proprietary web coding, these things could work in most browser if they just followed basic HTML programming conventions for compatibility. All we can do is hope.

Thanks for your explanation. I already use Chrome and keep my listings (stamps) as simple as possible. The only course of action seems to be bombarding eBay with complaints until somebody there finally figures out how a responsible company should do its work, i.e. by thinking of things from the consumer's point of view from time to time. It's a pity they don't have a viable competitor to show them how. Thanks again for your help.
