eBay tracking system defective

I'm a seller from Romania and since about 2 months for any shipped item eBay's system show "tracking provided" and stops in this status, no further "in transit" "delivered" even any dedicated tracking site show the real status. Is not enough that because of tis buyers ask me "what happened, you didn't ship my item?" but in performance section I'm registered with a lot of "Uploaded on time but no carrier scan" but all false, many of them already delivered and with positive feedback.

Two weeks ago I reported the problem to eBay, long nice and polite answer resume "you are right, I reported to tech department, they will solve" but still the same bad situation.

I'm not a top rated seller but what should do one with such false bad performance? Will be downgraded.

Btw, last year a problem with tracking too, once uploaded tracking number instantly appeared "delivered".

Another effect is for beginner sellers, money on hold till "delivered" or 21 days. Once "delivered" will never appear money will be unblocked after 21 day or when the buyer leave a feedback. But about 2/3 from buyers don't leave a feedback...

This is really the sort of thing that the eBay staff needs to be made aware of. I think that velvet@ebay and sheila@ebay are the ones most closely monitoring these boards right now.

For whatever it may be worth to you, I have a purchase coming to me that shows exactly the same as in your screen shot - the tracking number has been issued. eBay identifies it as Deutsche Post, but Deutsche Post doesn't recognize the number. And that's not surprising because, the number in my order is WRONG! And I found this out only because the good ol' USPS Informed Delivery service notifies me of any inbound mail expected and THEY gave me the correct tracking number and updates.

I have reported again the defect to eBay, the same answer ”we know, we are working on that”. In the meantime because of this defect buyers can't see the status of shipping, sellers register bad performance, money are on hold because missing delivered proof.

Don't know how many sales you are making, but if not too many........you could email buyers a tracking# site link and say that there is a problem right now seeing the tracking on ebay, but you can use this to watch the progress........

Thank you for your idea, I did this but I can't understand to do this for ever. Problem with tracking is few months old. And the problem has other effects too, bad performance, money on hold etc.
