In the last week, I am experiencing technical difficulties with eBay site. Webpage is not responding, not uploading or crashing, whereas, at the same time, other sites function well. Extremely hard to work with, do simple actions like search or listing. Anyone experience the same? Any solution? Thanks much in advance for suggestions.

Yup, me too. I've started experiencing it starting about 2-3 weeks ago, a LOT! I sporadically couldn't list, then twice I couldn't purchase items, then couldn't pay for an item. Last night, when I was searching for something I kept getting booted down to the bottom of the page. Tried to scroll up, but it kept taking me back down after trying to load items 😞
I can search/use other sites with no issues at all. I wish they would fix it, it sure is a bummer.

I am having the same problem. In my opinion Ebay needs to decide if it wants to be an online auction site OR a paid sponsored ad site. The ad choice ads always seem to wreck havoc with my computer...slowing it down, not responding, etc. I can't run searches, so how can anyone buy my items when ebay is not functioning properly. Ditch the Ads, Ebay!!!

Hi Guys, good to know that I'm not alone. Does eBay tech support read these questions? I was trying to get to their tech support online, but couldn't find any options. .. eBay HELP !

Yes ... after a search, the page shows results for a few seconds then jumps to the bottom of the page and you can't scroll back up most of the time. I use PC/Chrome, btw. It repeats as well ... something is messed up in the coding.

This is happening to me also... over and over again. Making it impossible to shop and buy anything. They certainly must be having some technicle issues or there is way to many people using the site for it to function. Good luck to them!

If you look at the **bleep** they have running on the page in the background you will see why this is happening. When I use the site on my linux box it does not crash. Something about those srcipts and microsoft. In any case they should not be running all that **bleep** on the browser side of the transaction. Will they fix it? Probably not since their bottom line is monety and f--k the customer. Suprises me though from a company with this much money producing such a **bleep** web site.

Working fine with a windows 10 laptop and desktop with both edge and chrome as the browser. If you are using internet explorer that is most likely the issue as Microsoft has stopped supporting it and will no longer be doing updates. Even Facebook is warning users to switch browsers. Also if you have a older OS that support is being phased out just changing to chrome or Firefox may not fix your issues. You may want to look into installing a newer OS or purchasing a newer PC.

Try another browser as a test.
If another browser does not crash when doing the same things on eBay, go back to Chrome and delete your cache and eBay cookies.
If that does not help, try disabling your browser add-ons to see if one is causing an issue for you.

What browsers have you tried? What page are you trying to reach?
If you are using a bookmark to reach eBay, try starting from the site map page and navigating to one of your My eBay pages:

Since the thread you are posting on deals with a problem from 2016, you will have to describe what you are seeing on your end now. eBay seems to be working fine for me, and it does not appear that eBay is down at the moment. You may be experiencing a local network problem or a problem with your particular browser.
