eBay only Problems

eBay become my enemy, I just need a way to close my account and stay far from this business.

eBay refuses to close my account!

@timemachinesandro

I have reviewed your earlier questions, trying to understand what the issue might be.

You posted several months ago, about not being able to provide valid tax information for your managed payments account, because your ITIN had expired. I provided information then about how to get your ITIN renewed:

ITIN Expiration Frequently Asked Questions

Were you able to get that problem fixed? It looks like your last feedback as a seller was received in January, and your posts were later than that, so it appears that you have not been selling since then. That would have been when eBay needed to verify your identity and tax documents, because of the new requirement for eBay to file a 1099-K form for sellers. An ITIN is normally used for a non-USA resident, who doesn't qualify for an SSN, but your registered address is in the USA.

If you were not able to provide valid tax information, then eBay would not be able to send your payouts, and you can't close an eBay account if there is a balance in the account, whether it's a credit or a balance-due. You might have to just ignore it.

If you don't provide valid tax information, then eBay will eventually send the money to your state's unclaimed money department, and you would be able to claim it from them. However, I believe most states require you to provide your SSN (or ITIN) as identification, so they can confirm that the money really belongs to you.
