eBay canceled my storefront ...

I opened a starter storefront last July on another eBay account. This one I have had for 5 years and is my buyer account, that has been in excellent standing.

The subscription fee came out of my checking account that I opened up for this storefront. Fine...

Then when sales were made, eBay started subtracting them from my revenue earnings. Fine...

Then eBay canceled my storefront saying that I have to manually pay the subscription fee once a month, where is the invoice?

I spent long hours building my storefront, custom banner, custom templates, custom store categories, and a complete set of policies that well informed anyone wanting to know about purchasing from my storefront, and those policies followed eBay's policies too for all sellers and buyers!

I spent extra time with my listings, providing excellent pictures, excellent descriptions of the items, because it was important to me to make the best presentation possible. My cost? Lot's of time and effort.

And I purchased a thermal printer, purchased photographic equipment, purchased packing supplies from other eBay sellers, an investment for my eBay storefront.

Sales started coming in, I was planning on upgrading my subscription, as I have more than 250 items to list.

But my storefront got nuked!

Someone who works for eBay made that happen. Someone who played God. It's happen before, back in the old Dial-Up day's using landline modems, logging into some local BBS (Bulletin Board System) registering an account, and then the Sysop decides to nuke me, as my character somehow wasn't welcome.

Unfortunately today there are people who work for ISP's and also online platforms, who use their vested responsibilities to discriminate against people they don't like, and they play SysGod (System God) and nuke those they don't like.

In my opinion, these BAD employees need to be fired.

But that won't probably happen, so I am firing eBay for good and closing both of my accounts.

With this account, that will be unfortunate for all the sellers who have items that I would consider buying. Perhaps I may buy from them on some other platform, but never again here on eBay!

Did you have a card attached to your account for other 'seller fees'?   When payment for a store is due and you don't have enough funds for them to take to cover the cost, they charge your credit card. Perhaps that is what they wanted?

Should I not have enough of a sales balance, Ebay takes the store fees from my bank, it does not charge my credit card.

They usually notify me of their intent on the first of the month, if the balance is too low and hit the bank 3 days later (not hit the bank account because there is a balance). New sellers with holds may see different behavior.

You're right, they take them from my bank account too. I must have been thinking of another scenario.

Not to be repetitious but Bay takes monthly fee from 'processing funds as well as available funds'.

Once in a while I am 0 in both accounts...I am given a 'pay now $0.00' whatever I owe as an email from eBay and I pay it myself through my bank...and/or debit card. I always pay immediately when I owe a balance.

eBay has never gone into my bank/debit card for a balance owed...maybe because I pay the day it is owed.
