Over 2 hours of frustration again On eBay Website.....
I have since sent an email with CCto ebay/ebay UK/Support at eBay/webmaster at eBay explaining that trying to actually Contact Member/Contact eBay support/Payfor/and so much more does not work for me.
Hopefully there is a Living Soukl (Human Being) who will read and respond in a positive manner.
Results come back saying "response too slow" from eBay.
I have a very fast water-cooled i7 with 32GB of DDR3 RAM and 20TB of HDD capacity here, with VDSL connection to New Zealand's largest ISP, and simultaneously running other applications on the Internet.
Today, I attempted a purchase, each time unable to complete the payment (because of eBay Website problem) nor unable to contact site assistance, (because of eBay Website problem) nor able to Message the Seller Member (because of eBay Website problem)
In desperation, having tried with Mozilla SeaMonkey - then Mozilla Firefox - then Opera, then Google Chrome, then turning off all Security Software here, I find that I haver "Bought five identical items", instead of the three I actually want, but there is no way to cancel the last two.
I cannot usefully contact eBay/The Seller/Pay for the items/Cancel the unwanted two items.
The last several times over the last few months, this ridiculous state of the eBay website has existed - A nightmare of troubles.
eBay used to be a pleasant experience, quick response, it all worked, no problems, could properly contact a human being easily via Chat.
I have to compare the present eBay experience with Alibaba/Aliexpress, where the system is easy, fast response, free shipping and so much more.
Sadly, I am trying to purchase items made by craftsmen in UK many years ago, and China has not cloned these, or would purchase them via AliExpress system.
I could go on, but i have spent some 3+ hours iof my life today, on a fruitless endeavour to make simple purchases at eBay.
So...is eBay going "down the proverbial plughole"/ I hope not, because surely the website problems are fixable.
If a real live person reads this (From eBay) perhaps you could advise further.
Browsers today, and Security Software, including Windows Defender and other Security Software,,recognise that JavaScript is inherently unsafe, and refuse connections to hyperlinks on Websites which use JavaScript Hyperlinks.
That's my conclusion 0- eBay havearranged their Website so that some Hyperlinks on the Website actually have connections to third parties, all of which are NOT approved under the HTTPS:// Website standards, and thus connections are refused as they are NOT safe.
So...I await a proper reply from eBay.
