eBay Messages Not Loading

Anyone else having issues with messages today? I have 2 messages from buyers, it took forever just to get the messages inbox page to load and then when I clicked on one of those messages, I got this:

Other websites are working fine and other parts of eBay are also working fine, so I don't believe it is something local to my computer or network.

My messages are not opening either. "Sorry! There has been an error retrieving your message from the server."

I have been having a similar issue. I changed browsers from google to edge and it improved.

Hey Ebay, why has this problem persisted for two years? Fix it! So frustrating.

Which problem are you experiencing exactly? There are several different problems described in this thread.

What browsers have you tried? Desktop or mobile? Have you tried the eBay app?

Have you tried using an alternative link to reach your messages inbox?

When using my S21 phone at ebay.com on Chrome... There are multiple icons/links for the messages page, but none load properly. They cycle and return to the same page.

I am able to view messages on my Android Motorola e4 using Chrome in mobile mode, so the problem does not seem to be universal.

Try requesting the desktop version of the page before using the message inbox link. I suspect there may be a problem with a redirection when in mobile mode that may point to another page.

Or try another browser in either mode -- mobile or desktop. Some browsers may handle the link or page better than others.

Using the eBay app to read messages may be another option.

The problem persists in Samsung browser and from yahoo mail app. It's not just a chrome issue. I'm sure it's not universal, but something eBay should address nevertheless.

I recently spent 20 minutes with a Ebay rep on this issue.   They said many are having this problem. I can not access messages when going through the ebay site but did access it by searching via Ebay Messages.  Got in and could read the messages but could not send a reply.

Mine not Workin hasn't for a while. Any ideas how to fix it.   And does any one else think there should b a easier way to leave five stars. I order alot of parts. And most sellers are 4 and five stars   only a few take your Mony and run or sell u trash
