constant loading

I click on an item I am interested in the listing after my search comes up.  It opens a new page, and then sits there trying to load the page....for hours.  I've left it alone and come back, and it's still trying to load up the page.  Just a lovely white page.  Cleaned out my cookies, cache, and the works, signed out, signed in.  And still the issue is there.  Also, tried different search engines, nope, still broken.  What's going on ebay?

If this happens in different browsers as well, then that would leave three basic possibilities: computer-related issues (try a malware scan, possibly consider an ad-blocker in the future, try signing in to your account on another computer); network-related issues (try signing in to your account on ebay.ca); ebay-account issues (try doing the same search after signing out completely, or signing in to another account). Unless other folks are having similar problems, I think you can assume it's not an eBay site-wide problem.

If I had to guess I would say some sort of malware/redirector is trying to send you to a bogus ad or site of some kind, and is either broken or being prevented from loading completely.
