My account was moved to managed payments, it was running smoothly for more than 1 year.
I was asked to upload documents to verify myself and my bank which I did immediately, I was told that payments would be held while this was verified which should take a few days!!
Now, more than 20 days have passed and i am still restricted. Many phone calls to eBay and no agend ever helped me. They keep more than 1200$. They keep my money for no reason anymore, as i uploaded what they wanted.
What the message in my payments section says:
Your payouts are currently on hold because your eBay account is restricted. Please go to Messages in My eBay for information about your account status.
and there is nothing in messages
Live chat is not available but I am expected to keep shipping my products
What should i do now? File a complaint on BBB maybe?
Any help please?

In the same boat.
Day 12 of eBay holding my money despite me sending in everything they requested of me to 'verify' my account & remove the 'restriction'.
Keep being told different reasons/timeframes for when it will be resolved.
'Agents' confirm all my information is correct & the documents I submitted are fine.
Had 5 'chats' with 'customer service agents' & I have absolutely zero progress.
Been a member 13 years, 100% positive feedback.
I can only assume that eBay are in some financial troubles, & are trying to maintain a sizeable account to accrue interest to continue operating.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul.
We're (the sellers) Peter.
What other actions can we take besides 'chats' & phone calls?
Contact the Better Business Bureau? Attorney General? A lawyer?

ebay new payout looks like a new way of ebay to hold funds and keep it in ebay.
Otherwise, it is impossible to understand why hold placed on funds in top rated 1999 ebay account (100% feedback).
No reasonable responses received from ebay.

Has anyone gotten resulting for this? I'm currently on week 2 of this exact situation with about a grand froxen in my ebay payouts.
My story isnthe exact same as everyone's on here w being told different times frames, documents look good, etc.
Now getting very worried about this and would love some guidance.

I'm now on day 15.
7 'chats' with 'agents'.
7 different stories/timeframes.
All confirmed my documents have been received and are what they requested of me.
Latest story is they can't tell me why my account is still restricted, but that my 'hold' should have been lifted by now as it's been over '10 business days'.
The 'agent' actually told me they were 'not at liberty' to tell me why my account verification is delayed, it is just delayed with no timeframe for resolution.
I have no other recourse but to forward this on to the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, my state Attorney General, & to a private attorney for resolution.
Look, we're not idiots.
They are stealing our money because they need it to keep operating.
Plain and simple.
They won't get away with it.
Not in this age.
Look at social media. Reddit. The message boards here.
This is happening to enough people that something is going on that is more than them being understaffed and behind verifying people's accounts.
All of people are remarking how they are going through this exact same thing.
Is eBay really that delusional that they think they can steal our money and that eventually we will just give up and shrug?

Hi, Have a similar problem. 5 chats with ebay agents and no results. My account is restricted from 18 August and payments still on hold status. I dont know what is going on.

Sorry to tell you that you won't be able to get your money back, as eBay will steal it. Stop selling

I'm in the same boat. They keep telling me that it will be released in 5 days or 72 hours or whatever. Has anyone finally got it released?

Sadly same for me, they moved me to Managed Payments and I have the red banner that said that I had to verify my identity, that doesn't work no matter what I put in there, I've been dealing with this problem for 2 months now, they have me @$2,000 on hold just because they can't offer an alternative or don't want to, I've spoken with countless reps, with numerous Leadership team rep and still nothing, I mean, Ebay at this point is basically stealing our money, and it seems like there's nothing we can do to recoup what is ours, I've filed a complaint on BBB but nothing has changed, I honestly don't know what to do, maybe if we come together against them we can do something about it.

Hi,
I'm also in the same boat, payments were suspended on Oct. 19, and they asked for ID and bank account documents.
I sent both right away.
First they said they didn't have my bank document, I sent both again, then they said they didn't have my ID document, I sent everything again. Then they were allowed to do things in the chamber, but so far the money has not been released.
It's completely nervous.
Has anyone found a solution to the problem?

I have same issue, 7 diferent chats in customer support. It looks like I have ban in their chats, because without VPN I cant to discuss with them. All phones numbers does not work for me 😞 And after long time I ve got email this that because I dont have VAT tax number, maby someone got same information as main ? Or this is another nonsense 😞

Ok there was some progress with my account. I have contacted support again and told them I need to be forwarded to the payment specialist and don't want to get another general answer. I have also said I am taking legal actions against eBay (was actually consulting my lawyer). I have also uploaded everything again, I have added multiple documents confirming my identity and business info (even the ones they do not ask for). Finally after 3 days they have released my funds and made a payment to my bank account. 2 days later - my account is restricted again and no more answers from support. I have removed all my listings during the last restriction and I can't list anything again even if I wanted. Looks like eBay is completely over for me. It was fun while it lasted. Good luck to those who are staying on this sinking ship (I wouldn't suggest that).

I'm having a similar problem. Ebay hasn't given me any of my sales in almost a month. I've had to use my own money for shipping and then when I was a few days late mailing some items they double restricted me and now all new sales are on hold for a month. Ive uploaded everything I was asked to. All I get is misinformation. Ebay is deliberately doing this.

Been 5 days for me a now after reading horror stories I am stressing out. We don't sell on eBay for free. Like all of us I am dependent on my eBay money so I can continue to source and have extra money for bills and food. I sent them the information within an hour. Nothing shady and all information is correct. You just don't treat people or customers this was. It's no mystery why the past 10 years have lost billions in market share and poor reputation keeps mounting. But they still have the name. I use to love selling here now it seems like nothing but problems or extra work (item specifics, new fees, new seller pages)

Your absolutely correct! We need to work together and utilize our options! We need to collectively file a class action suit! eBay tyranny has been way over board! After reading all of these threads I’m heavily concerned as I have over 5k in my MP!
