Wrong Fee Amount Charged After I Upgraded Store

I upgraded my store from Starter to Basic about 10 days before the end of November. I was charged the new monthly rate of $21.95 and received the extra listings for that level of store, but continued to be charged at the higher Starter store rate (12.55%) instead of what I should have been charged in with my new store (11.7%).

I have contacted customer service three times about this, and was told a ticket was created to fix the issue, but nothing has changed. I am frustrated. You owe me money, Ebay. I need this issue fixed and to have a credit issued for the overcharge in fees.

Wrong Fee Amount Charged After I Upgraded Store

@vintageforthepeople ,

Any listings that were created (or relisted) before you signed up for the store, will still be charged the rate for FVF that was in place when the listing was created/relisted. So you will continue to experience this for about a month after you signed up for the store.

Any listings that were created or relisted after you signed up for the store will be charged at the store rate.

Thank you. That seems entirely unfair. I guess I’ll just relist everything.

It's incredible that none of the 3 different customer service reps I spoke to told me this. Perhaps they were not aware. I appreciate the info!

I don't think it's written down anywhere, it's something that we worked out from experience.
