I just received the Summer Seller 2024 email. I do not want this email. I checked all my settings and cannot easily figure out which category this email would fall under. I already have all the subscription and marketing emails turned off, so this is an annoying situation.
Why doesn't eBay (and every other company) make it plainly obvious which category an email belongs to?
Why doesn't eBay (and every other company) provide an unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email?

When you're selling, there are some emails you should be receiving, like site updates.

The Seller Update is not a marketing email. It's essential information with things like policy changes and site updates. As far as I'm aware, it's not something you can turn off. There are usually 3 per year. If they bother you then hit the delete button, but be aware you will miss out on things like changes to fees and account settings and more.

I found a potential solution, we'll see.
Go to community.ebay.com.
Go to settings > personal > email > email settings.
Check the box "Don't send me any community emails". It is unchecked by default apparently.

I'm glad ebay makes continual improvements to their seller services, but I don't need notified via email, personally, and would like a simple way to unsubscribe. I sell a few things on ebay and get a lifetime of email I can't unsub from?

That setting controls emails about posts and notifications here on the community discussion forums.

If you become inactive as a seller then eventually the seller emails will stop - at least that was my experience with a couple selling accounts I let go dormant. I don't recall how long it takes (a year? two?). Not a lifetime. As I said, there are only 3 seller updates per year so you can delete those emails if you don't want them.

That's not a community email.
