I moved a year ago to a new house and address, but when I try to change my address and shipping address on my Ebay account, the new address is rejected. From Amazon, Walmart and everybody else I had no problem in changing my address, but Ebay rejects it. I called the Ebay phone number numerous times, the person with Indian accent told me that the address is going to be corrected in a few hours, but never gets corrected. I am calling every week and nothing gets corrected, no responsible person to do something, only they direct me to Q&A and online. I am going to call a last time and close my account and never buy anything from Ebay in the future. The Chinece seller Ali Express is a lot better and more responsive to customers.

I've seen others suggest adding the new address to your shipping addresses at the "view all shipping addresses" link on your account addresses page (using the "add another address" link). Once it is added successfully, make that your primary shipping address. Then you can delete the old address.
If you are a seller, repeat that with the "send from address".
Finally, you should be able to change your registration address. At least that's how it's supposed to work.

If it's a brand new address, there are some suggestions in this thread:

Sometimes those verification databases can be picky about exact details, so it's worth trying some variations. But if your address is not in the database at all, you may be at the mercy of whoever updates it -- keep bugging eBay until they actually put you in touch with someone who can help. Good luck!
