When I try to enter text in a “contact buyer” window, the text disappears as I am typing. If I continue typing, it reappears for a second and then disappears again. It acts as though the text is turning white intermittently, or a white window is covering it up. If I move my mouse over the text, it appears highlighted in blue, but then when I release the mouse, it disappears again. It is impossible to write a message this way. If I write it in TextEdit and paste it in, it disappears immediately, but if I send the message anyway, and then check my eBay messages sent folder, it was sent correctly. I am using Windows 10 with Chrome.

I use last pass / addblock /  bitly  /  grammarly  /  cookie inspector  /  fireshot  / livereload

Try disabling or removing grammarly -- that seems to have resolved this issue for many folks previously. If that doesn't help, post a followup.

Yes ive had trouble with this for months and as soon as I got rid of grammerly tonight...hey presto works fine

Interesting. Was whatever Grammarly thing you had (browser addon or plugin) up to date or an older version?

I'm just curious if this is an ongoing Grammarly issue and that they haven't changed/fixed anything, or if they have fixed it but you are using an old unfixed version.

THE ANSWER IS TO REMOVE GRAMMARLY WORD CORRECTION FROM THE BROWSER IT WAS A PROBLEM FOR ME FOR AGES UNTIL I REMOVED IT ...hope this helps x

Turning off Grammarly  allows text to be seen in normal fashion :-).  Grammarly, in that it corrects typos , is OK, in every other respect it is a pain in the butt 😞

Have you tried disabling the Grammarly plug-in if you have it installed in your browser? That worked for others in this thread. Otherwise, try a different browser, at least for typing messages.
