When I list no descriptions show

All of a sudden when someone clicks on an item I have listed they are telling me there is no description. Never had the problem until Ebay started changing things. What is going on?

If you were using a listing template , and if it contained images, etc, there may be what is now deemed unsafe html within it. Thus, you will not see a description, but a link within the listing to go to the full description.
The best resolution for this issue is to use just text... and yes! You can dolly it up, just use different fonts, sizes and font colors! You have to be more creative than we did!

I saw one with a hidden description. Saw some that are mangled with no or bad formatting. The one with the hidden description is probably due to the Squaretrade outside link (no "non-eBay" links are permitted any longer except images and a few video sites I believe.)

The terms American Girl, Pleasant Co, Mattel in all the descriptions I saw is keyword spamming, and along with use of the word velcro in them may get you slammed hard by eBay, VERO, and or the mfgs for trademark infringement. (Last year I got slapped by eBay for using velcro once and listing was taken down)

Not using listing templates. Your other suggestion sounds good though... thx

What did you replace velcro with? I thought and was told you have to have a disclaimer because my things are handmade so people realize they are not getting something from one of the Companies I name.

►What did you replace velcro with?

I didn't replace it. The listing was taken down/disappeared a week after it sold.

You have to use "hook&loop fastener" or other generic phrasing. The velco rights owners are *bleeping* *bleeps* that have shot themselves in the foot - I will never buy Velco again and will trash the product at every opportunity.

As far as using the other terms to describe what your item is not: I'd suggest posting a question about that on the Selling board where those more knowledgeable on those topics reside - but wear your asbestos underwears and tread carefully to avoid being snarked, belittledsed, and abused there.
