I have tried to notify the Defect department that the shipping defects on my report are all (except one) due to a mistake on the “due date” to ship. For example, I have an ongoing issue that shows my shipment is “overdue” when I'm shipping it within 24 hrs of receiving payment.
I have pictures of these issues dating back to Nov. -Dec. 2021. Especially during the Holiday season. Since we cannot call without talking to a computer, I assumed they were issues eBay was aware of. I've been selling on eBay for 20 years and have noticed anytime they make any significant software changes, there will be “bugs” to work out!
Surely I wasn't the only one dealing with the wrong ship dates; how about eBay assigning one tracking number to two different buyers? That's a cool trick! I am so glad I have pictures!
The only problem is no one will tell me who or where to send them? I should mention that this is the mobile app. My computer is unusable I have been using the mobile app. What that developer needs to know is that on the mobile messages it doesn't show the bottom of the email where you have an option to reply. 4 agents could not help he contact the person assigned to me in the defect department. I couldn't reply to the email itself, I didn't have a link, based on what I saw, the bottom of the message had the privacy info. Which is common. Finally an agent asked me if I used the reply button? I told her there wasn't one. She suggested I go to seller hub and hit messages! A miracle occurred! There was the hidden reply button! I happily hit it, now we are going somewhere, not! It was too late the ability to respond was gone. Why didn't the other four agents tell me that? I asked them to look at the email with me. No one suggested I go to seller hub, until it was too late. My top seller status was removed.
I have chat transcripts galore of me asking agents to help me; I realized when I received my defect report that I had nine defects! Yes, one international may have been my error. But the other eight were due to eBay giving the wrong ship date. This one is good; I received two defects because I did not add any tracking number to 2 items; yes, I have a picture! A pop-up box told me that the tracking number was assigned to another buyer. Ok, that was when I discovered that the same tracking number was assigned to 2 different buyers! Now, if that had been a costly item and if one of the two buyers had not purchased three items separately. I would not have known the same tracking number went to different buyers; it was when I tried to manually copy & paste the tracking number to the two additional items the buyer bought that the pop-up box blocked my ability. AND I RECEIVED DEFECTS for not having the ability to add them. This might be funny if I had not lost my Top Seller status and, with it, the EXTRA PROTECTION. Because then no one at eBay would help me when some buyer who I proved to eBay that she lied about an item she bought. She was so angry that I won my appeal!
She threatened me with making sure I would pay and lose my top seller status and not be able to sell on eBay anymore; after all, her husband is an Attorney! She has put friends up to buying for her and leaving me negative FB. I know it's true; I can prove it! I don't trust anyone to have my back without my “Extra Seller Protection,” so for 20 years, I have worked with women who have health-related hair loss, chemotherapy, alopecia, and lupus. Etc. I have a wonderful client base. I was a Top seller with 100% feedback for most of my 20 years until I upset the Attorney's wife! Right after her feedback was removed, a new buyer bought an item a week later; she left neg feedback. When I asked her why she didn't ask me to return, she said, “what good would it do; you will tell eBay.....NO ONE knew that except the Attorney's wife; that was not public info! So I knew. She wasn't interested in a refund; she didn't pay for that one! Next month, same scenario, new person, bought three weeks later left neg. FB. Neither one contacted me at ALL!
I asked her to remove the feedback; she could return it. I would refund....nothing, no response. To prove a point....I went ahead & refunded her, told her I recalled the item...nothing. When people aren't interested in a refund, it's usually because they are not invested, or simply don't care.
Today, I received the 3rd neg FB. On my best seller item that had multiple positive FB on. She swore I ruined it before sending it, that it was used, not new. she had it for all post a month, not one word! Did she contact me before she left neg FB? No! I went from 20 yrs 100% positive FB to 98.1% in 3 mo. Yes, you guessed it, after the attornies wife threatened me. There is something so weird about that person; she went way too far at the beginning with her FB claim and threats. Why did eBay make those shipping mistakes that cost me my Top Seller Status? The “extra protection” would undoubtedly have influenced eBay’s decision to deny my request to remove the neg, FB. That I had proof, there was a connection to a previous claim. I have never missed an eBay payment, not in 21 years; I have never bad-mouthed eBay ( until now). I have left one neg FB in 20 years, And even then explained to the seller that the item she sold was NOT a “training tool” as she indictated.
I Didn't wAnt someone, an innocent buyer, trying to learn something for their occupation and be disappointed. I don't believe in leaving negative FB just to hurt someone's reputation; in some cases, on eBay, that feedback is your reputation. Especially to new buyers!
This is my last attempt to notify someone I have pictures of why my defects are actually eBay's. My clients are even upset that eBay is allowing these lies to be perpetuated about me. Also, the stress that all this has added to me has affected my health and sense of well-being. My sales have declined; I've spent so much time defending myself; more importantly, if ANYONE there would read the threats, notice the familiar techniques these buyers are using, the neg FB added today for my best seller item. She is selling the opposite color from what she bought from me, which makes no sense at all as to why she bought it, except she really didn't buy it. The Attorney's wife wears that color and style of all the neg, feedback items purchased! Where is Judge Judy when you need her?
