What is wrong with collections?

Everytime I try to add an item to a collection it doesn't add the item to the collection. If I create a new collection it says it was created but it doesn't show up when I want to add items or in the "show all collections". What is the issue? Fix this problem please.

I've had this problem for about 12 months now.  Tried different browsers, and clearing cache/history in each browser to no avail.

I did read rumours that ebay had silently disabled this feature for people making random collections, but it still works for people making collections of items they are selling.  I have not verified this.

Very annoying.

I've also had this problem for a year or so.  

This is highly inconvenient as a buyer because I search for items I am interested in or know I'm going to want to buy. I then save them with notes so when I *can* buy, I have selected many options & can benefit from what I'd learned by re-reading the notes. This allows me to quickly pick out an option when I can buy.  Without it, I'm buying less on ebay & find it much less friendly or satisfying
