Watchlist

Yesterday, “Item ID 166509866152 is no longer available” appeared in my watchlist.  It occupies an otherwise completely blank space and I can find no way to get rid of it.  There is, for example, no ‘hide’ option.  The item ID shown retrieves no information.  eBay coders are relentless tinkerers, regularly producing artifacts that have no apparent purpose.  Has anyone else been visited by this latest nuisance?

Re: Watchlist

There are multiple ways to delete items from a Watch List -- try another method. Or another browser. One method may work better than another for "stuck" items.

If you are using a desktop browser, go to your Watch List or Summary page, select the checkbox to the left of the item on the list, and then use the delete button at the top of the page.

Try going to ebay.ca and deleting the item there if you are unable to delete it on ebay.com.

If you are using the eBay app, from Watching, hit the "edit" menu to reveal checkboxes, select the box by the item, then tap the trash or delete icon at the top of the page.
