Watchlist issues

Hello,

I have been going round and round with this. First off ebay you need to update your help center so folks can resolve issues without having ro load and reload the help center.

Now with that said my watchlist keeps giving me an error saying its full nothing else can be added. I currently have 144 items in the watch list. The most i ever had was 253 but since then the number keeps dropping. I can delete 10 things then go to add 2 and says full and so on and so on. Soon ill be under 100. Short of just deleting you app what cam be done?

Thanks for any feedback.

Try signing out of your eBay account, restarting your browser and signing back in to eBay.

That can often help with Watch List issues.

Watchlist issues

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, as this is the second time i have tried to reponse with no error, so if it repeats sorry.

But i believebi figured it out. It seems items that end whether they are purchased or not still count to your overall number in the watchlist.

So you have to go under the ended tab and figure out which items were sold or not relisted by the sellers and delete those. You would think this would be automatic but its not. So once you do that it drops the overall number and you no longer receive the error. Its a pain more so if it spans months of items but i guess ebay hasn't thought of automatically removing sold items.

Once again thanks for the reply and hopefully this helps others who have had the same issue.

Thanks,

R. D. S.

Yes, ended items count toward your total.

Items that are relisted automatically will remain on the Watch List as active items. Items that are ended and not relisted automatically will stay on the Watch List as ended items for ninety days before the listings expire from the site and no longer appear. Some unsold ended items are manually relisted by the seller; in that case you should see a link to the newly listed item so you can Watch it if you want.
