Watchlist error. Cannot add items to watchlist.

Can't add an item to my watchlist on either my Mac or iPad.  Has been intermittent all day.

Having tried it several times, I jumped to another item and then went back to the first. The item is now on my watchlist, so the problem is that I'm not getting the response back from eBay.
Checked my downlink speed and it's over 50MB. Pinged ebay.com and got timeouts, so may be congestion from ebay out to New Zealand.

Have been having this problem for quite a while and still do. Come on ebay, it can't be that difficult.
