July 1 and still not working...

Hey all....
I realize, we all realize, that this is a pain in the (you know what)! BUTT (Pun intended), if you are seeing a slow-down in your sales, there could be MANY other factors causing that. I will not go through them here, HOWEVER I COULD see a slow-down, if you are basing your pricing solely on how many views your items are getting and are not doing anything else to try and price your items. We are NOT a large-volume seller, but our sales are on the upswing, especially during the last couple of weeks! I AM NOT letting eBay off the hook on this... They either cannot find the fix, buried within miles of computer code, or are simply dragging their feet. Either way, they NEED to fix the problem. HOWEVER, WE are not going to pull our listings from eBay, in stead, we are going to put MORE listings up. Since some of you are saying that you are leaving; GREAT!! that leaves more customers for the rest of us. Finally, I have two last things to say: #1) People, there are more ways other than just "views" to price your items. #2) EBAY <--- PLEASE, fix the issue!!!!! Thank you for listening, have a nice day...

One last little thing... If you aren't listing items to sell, how can you make sales???? SO, maybe people are seeing a slow-down of sales, because they are imposing that slow-down on their sales by not listing (or relisting) their items...

Almost all of mine are showing -- for views since yesterday I think. And it seems the views are being reset and/or changed all the time lately. eBay with all their tweaks and tinkering with EVERYTHING causes site issues. Also since yesterday afternoon when my views are showing -- I"ve had not 1 sale, over 1 full day, after having my best week so far. Coincidence? I doubt it.

Disgusting that this is still going on. Nearly, or actually, two weeks already. Ugh.
Huge inability to ascertain interest and/or adjust pricing.

Re "If you aren't listing items to sell, how can you make sales???"
Last year I noticed that when I listed several new items soon afterward I'd get several sales, but typically more of other items I'd previously listed than the newly listed items. Also, after just a few days I'd typically have 20-50 views of the newly listed items.
This year I've listed and relisted many items, both old and new, and have seen that after several weeks the newly listed/relisted items have fewer than ten views, many with only 2-3 views, and of course no sales. Also, I aggressively reduced the price of all of my items, some even to 99 cents, which resulted in a few sales, but that's pretty much it. Only after discovering that "Looks like there might be a selling limit" suggested articles thing and going fukushima on eBay about it, has anything changed. Plus, when that seller-defect eBay defect hit, my short-lived vastly improved sales volume fell off of a cliff again. And those aren't this year's only oddities...
I've noticed that I'll have a flurry of sales over the course of an hour or three, then nothing for many hours to a day or two, then a flurry of sales over the course of an hour or three, then nothing for many hours to a day or two, then a flurry of sales over the course of an hour or three, then nothing for many hours to a day or two, then a flurry of sales over the course of an hour or three, then nothing for many hours to a day or two, then a flurry of sales over the course of an hour or three, then nothing for many hours to a day or two, then a flurry of sales over the course of an hour or three, then nothing for many hours to a day or two, and so on.
I've noticed that a particular item will become "popular" for a day or three, then become "unpopular" for a week or three, then become "popular" for a day or three, then become "unpopular" for a week or three, then become "popular" for a day or three, then become "unpopular" for a week or three, then become "popular" for a day or three, then become "unpopular" for a week or three, then become "popular" for a day or three, then become "unpopular" for a week or three, and so on.
(A stutter eBay has it seems.)

I am also having the same issue with no view counts and unknown if watcher counts are being accurate. Sales have dropped off completely for over a week. I am paying for a eBay store for what? eBay should give all store owners a month of free store cost. I am moving some of my business to other websites and actually getting responses.

I have noticed the problem off and on over the last 30 days. Over the last 10 days, it has happened every day. Very frustrating. 😞

As i can see this problem has been over 3 weeks now.
The views and counter is one off the biggest factors to actually get any sales.
1. People find your stuff if the views are high, the views moves it more higher up in the listing.
2. People se if many have look at it, like 50 views in 24 hours, or 16 views every hour.
Now it takes about 24 hours to show up in search if you list one new, and actually loose exposure as new listing for 24 hours.
Now only the highest rated will be on the top on the listing.
Well.. maybe this is permanent , they plan to do this changes or they actually do not know how to fix this.

I think Ebay is doing this intentionally for some purpose unknown to us. Any company as large as Ebay could have a glitch fixed in the several weeks this has been going on. They have the people who own the stores hooked in now so they have to pay no matter what. Glad I don't have one. Can bail anytime.

I’m in the US and having the same issue. It shows I have watchers but 0 views on mobile, on the Mac is shows a dash. Sales have also been way down the past couple weeks, on items that I have regularly sold for years. So I too have been wondering if the listings aren’t consistently “live.” eBay needs to get on this or we sellers will be using a different platform. No sellers = no eBay.
