Using Microsoft authenticator app for 2FA

Currently for 2FA I can only see SMS (😂) and using the eBay mobile app as options. Is there a way to use Microsoft authenticator with validate 2FA for eBay.

I don't want to have multiple apps on my phone which is responsible for handling 2FA. All other sites I can use Microsoft authenticator app to setup 2FA, why doesn't eBay allow this?
