That can happen if you sign out of your original eBay account and sign back in to a different eBay account.

It is easy to inadvertently create a new eBay account by signing in to eBay using a social media account that is not already linked to an existing eBay account.

If your both your username and feedback number were different, you were probably not signed in to that account, though.

You should consider the possibility that you have access to more than one eBay account.
