Clearing recent searches (after clicking the search bar) is not working properly. Clicking 'X' for each search does remove it from the list, but all searches reappear after a page reload. Clearing site data and cookies does not resolve the issue, searches reappear after logging back in.
These topics (1, 2) mention the same issue. The suggestions posted there refer to recently viewed items, clearing those works properly.
