This has been ongoing for some time. The Add to Watchlist button on any listing does not work.

How many total active items on your Watch List? And how many Ended items?
Make sure you are not just looking at a subset of your list:
https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/watchlist?custom_list_id=WATCH_LIST&filter=listing_status:ALL
Try deleting some ended items to see if that allows you to add new items.
If that does not help, try another browser. If another browser works better, try clearing your cache in the first browser, and manually erase just your eBay cookies.

I replied already, but it's not here for some reason.
I have no items in my Watchlist. I have not been able to add any.

Which browsers have you tried? Latest versions?

I'm unable to add to any of my watchlists. I've used Brave and Chrome. It was never a problem before

Try signing out of eBay in one of your browsers and then restarting your computer to see if that allows you to add new items to your Watch List.

I saw your previous message and have tried these basic things. This isn't about the main watch list. It's about the wishlist and other custom lists. On each item page, there was always a drop down to add it to any of these lists. That drop down is no longer there and instead is a button to add the item to the main watch list only

That's a feature that was only enabled on some accounts, possibly a feature that was being tested. I posted about it a few years ago:
I just checked my other account where the feature was enabled, and it appears it's been removed for me as well. It looks like we're going to have to live without it, unfortunately.

Yeah eBay changed this last year @tjaded . A lot of us don't like how it's working.
You have to add items to your main watchlist from the item page.
Then you navigate to your watchlist and you can move items to custom lists.
Technically you're not moving them like you used to - you are copying them. The item will remain on the main watchlist and it'll be copied to a custom list, and if you delete it from the main list it will also be deleted from your custom list.
Don't like it? Hit the ? icon on the bottom right of the page and find the 'submit feedback' link to let eBay know why it's not working for you. Be constructive, don't just say "I don't like it" or "put it back the way it was" because comments like that won't get you anywhere.

Got it. It just kicked in for me a few weeks ago. Thanks for the explanation. I guess they don't want things to get "forgotten" in secondary watch lists. Gotta sell!
