Turbo Lister will not complete setup. Stalls during "setting upTurbo Lister for first use"

Anyone have problem with initial setup of Lister. I have Windows8. Everything seems to go fine until it gets ready to load info for first time use. 3 bars appear in the installation dialog box and then it just stops. I uninstalled Lister to try againbut got to same place with same problem. Any thoughts?

There are two issues that may affect the installation.

1) Follow the directions in this link to set your InternetExplorer options correctly for TurboLister -

2) Right click on the Turbo icon and select Run in  Supervisor mode or Compatability mode (I cannot remember which win 8 uses).

I am getting an access denied page when I click on that link for the IE setup information.

I also receive the access denied message. The link I refered to was one where I described how to set your IE options for TL. Since eBay is trying to deter new TL users, they may have locked that thread.

If I repeat those instructions, this thread may suddenly be "archived/locked". The point is, you should really try to find another solution to your listing needs. TL will most likely cease to function shortly after June/July of next. It would be a waste of your time (yes, yours to waste!) to learn this old, clunky program, then have to do it again for a modern, fast and efficient program like mentioned below.

SixBit...Auctiva...WonderLister... There are several others.

I like this clunky program. It's fairly straightforward and to the point for things. But I will have to explore other options if they are stopping support in 6 months.

This application won't even install and customer service (Advanced Apps Group) at eBay told me to download TL to be able to do things that ebay has been removing from the application/platform. Any help on getting this to run on Windows 10 or in compatibility mode?
