Hi
Wondering if you might help me or point me to where I can find out. I have four different computers and each of them has the Turbo Lister 2 on it with a file of items ready to list on Ebay. The computers were getting old so I purchased a new larger one and now would like to consolidate the various Turbo inventory files onto the new computer so I have one file on one PC that I can use to do all my listings. I then would be able to retire the old PC’s. I tried to do this but failed. One, but not the only one, of the biggest problems I had is that the pictures for each item would not come over to the new PC. How can I make the above happen?
If my wife ever opens up her own Ebay site can she put her items for sale into my turbo inventory file and then some how list them out onto her site when she wants them listed or does she have to maintain her own inventory file that would be used only for her site? If she can use my file is there anything special that has to be done to make it work?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give. Have a nice day.

What you ask is difficult. With Turbo being depreciated, I am not sure this is wise. It is unlikely that your separate computers will fail before Turbo is no longer functional.
However, much would depend on whether each computer/Turbo is set up for a separate eBay Accounts or for 1 eBay account. Turbo has the capability to have multiple accounts in the same program, so you can create 4 user files (for 4 separate eBay accounts). I have not tried combining account inventory, as I have just 1 account. But the following should work for you.
Note: It is unwise to have more than 1500 items in any one inventory folder. Turbo is not designed for many more than that. I have heard of one user with 30,000 inventory items, following the above rule.
Ok to business...Go to each computer (one at a time), go to the inventory section of the Turbo program, select all listings in that inventory folder, then click File>Export. Choose the .tdb file format. This format will copy images for each. Be very aware of where Turbo places those files. I would suggest using the Desktop location, to make these export files easy to find. I would also suggest you name each export file something different...export1, export2, etc. Once you have done this for each computer, transfer the file to the destination (new) pc desktop.
Hopefully you are on a network, it is very usual for cds created on an older pc to not read on a newer one.
Start Turbo on the new pc. If these exports are for different accounts, create separate accounts in Turbo. If you are combining the following should still work.
Go to the Inventory section of Turbo (or each account, if using separate), then Click File>Import>From File. Import each tdb file into a single Turbo account, or into each separate account.
Turbo will create folders in the inventory section called 'Imported from C:/etc/etc/export1.tdb'
These imports will have images. You can then copy/paste at will, into your normal inventory folders. The images will follow. OR, you can just leave them in these folders for future use.
