Recently, I decided to sell an inexpensive watch that I had picked up. I checked eBay and found one like it for less than $10.00. I was going to hit the Sell one Similar button and list mine. I was interrupted and never got back to the computer till the next morning. To my surprise, I had received a Notification that I needed to complete my purchase ! I am not new to eBay. That can be checked easily, and I have a 100% Positive rating. I am not really a for profit seller but I have many watches on eBay. My hobby is finding crippled watches and repairing them, cleaning them up and giving them away at hospitals and nursing homes. I sell quite a few to defray costs, buy watch tools, batteries, bands, etc. Anyway, I am not a novice and did not hit the wrong button. Is this a Scam or did eBay technology complete a transaction that never was intended ? If so, it would explain why I have had a few buyers who never did get around to paying me for watches they "purchased". Perhaps the same happened to them.
