Earlier I went to check something in my watch list and instead of the usual vertical linear listings, I was presented with a horizontal scroll of a few images with a short title underneath with arrows (< or >) to move back and forth. I refreshed and it went back to normal. I hope eBay isn't also messing with that along with everything else that might be negatively impacting sales. I just checked it again and it's still "normal," thank goodness.
As it is, I'll buy less if they make the feedback changes widespread because the new format actually bothers my eyes and it's harder to get a quick impression of the seller's performance. And I do pay attention to feedback (on my buying ID).
So I'm hoping the watch list format won't change. I'd hate to have to move through it with arrows instead of just glancing up or down my list.

That appears to be a new addition to menus across the top of most eBay pages -- there is now a "Watch List" drop-down that shows some items from your list in a side scrolling list. If you scroll through all sixteen or so items, there is a link to the actual Watch List under "see more".
This is in addition to the standard Watch List link still located under the My eBay link just to the right of that new menu.

Thank you for that explanation. At least now I know to use the Watch List selection under the My eBay link. Now, if only there was a way to choose the old format...

The Summary page is the closest thing to the old Watch List format I have been able to find, but of course that lacks the links to other custom lists. Here is a version of the link you can bookmark that jumps to the top of the Watch List portion of the page:
I rely on the old "All Lists" link -- here is a version that jumps to the list portion of the page (but it is better still if you remove that useless blue banner):

Thank you! I added the first link to Shortcuts in My eBay Seller Hub; that's an improvement over the actual link from the menu. I especially like that I can once again more easily delete a watched item from its actual place on the list (i.e., not having to check a box or boxes and scroll to the top for the delete link).

I will just deal with the space rather than trying to customize my ad blocker.
For a relatively straightforward element, removing that white space might be as simple as clicking on the ad blocker icon in your address bar, choosing "block an ad on this page" (Ad Block) or "Block element" (Ad Block Plus), hovering the cursor over the element you want to remove or block to highlight it, and then selecting it. If you realize that you have blocked something important, there is typically an undo function to remove blocks in a domain, or you can pause ad blocking and reload the page to reveal the blocked elements.
Ad blockers are actually very powerful tools, and once you start using them to customize your pages, you find many elements besides ads that can be removed. I use them extensively on the Community pages to remove unnecessary headers, menus and sidebars.
Thanks again for the response to this. I use AdBlock. I did attempt to block an ad (hidden in white space by my blocker). There is one there, as evidenced by the display when the cursor is placed in the area. Follow the prompts. The white space collapses. I follow the directions to block. It is gone momentarily, then the white space reappears as the page refreshes from that action.
Beyond my ken. Oh well, white space is better that annoying ads, annoying changing ads:) By removing all ad blocking from my watch page I see that the ad is for the $30 credit with ebay Mastercard. Wasn't missing out as I have been emailed/messaged repeatedly with that opportunity.

If you are highlighting the space, selecting "Looks good" when prompted and "Block it!", that should work. I suppose there might be a series of rotating ads -- that could complicate matters, since you might be getting a different ad in the same spot on successive page loads. Usually there is a setting of the slider before you select "Looks good" that works best without eliminating other wanted elements. It is also possible that your version of Ad Block is different from mine in some subtle way.
