Technical difficulties on log in

Hi , my ebay app is not letting me log in ,it says technical difficulties 

I can log in using my browser ok which iam using now.

I've uninstalled app, cleared cache , restarted phone ,etc

Please help

What operating system version are you using? What version of the eBay app?

If your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app and you cannot update your operating system, it should still be possible to use a mobile browser to go to ebay.com or ebay.co.uk and use eBay that way.

Same here....brand new phone so installed app....phone supports the app. Can't get to report as I can't log in to report it.

New Android phones often have older versions of Google Play Services or Google Play Store that can prevent installation of the latest version of the eBay app.

The latest version of the app (6.176.0.1) should work with Android 14. What version number of the app are you using?

Try uninstall the eBay app, restarting your phone, then reinstalling the latest version of the app.

Or else try using a browser to go to ebay.com or ebay.co.uk instead.

Use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk if the app is not working.

If you are using an Android device and eBay browser links are automatically opening in the eBay app, go to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links and choose "do not open in the app".
