TECH PROBLEM WITH SHIPPING TAB
When you click the shipping tab and put in a new country and then click
GET RATE - the screen jumps and goes back to the Description tab - so you
then have to reclick the shipping tab to see what the rate is.
-
For a new customer this is very confusing.
Please look into this.
Thanks, Amy

funny thing is ......
I just checked it and it worked - really did calculate the cost of multiples.
But, as we spoke before - I am flat rate shipping most items so all it really did was multiply the number x's the quantity - but it did work. SERIOUSLY - not crazy - it did work.
Once (for a second or two) and then tried it again and it was broke again and did the send me to home page with this message again
"We looked everywhere.
Looks like this page is missing. If you still need help, visit our help pages."

If you need a laugh -
try changing the quantity in the shipping tab now and click get rates and see what happens.

I know a easy fix for all of their issues. Go through their back up tapes for their servers. Pull the tapes from about a and a half year ago. Then reinstall from that point. Then lock the system so their techs and management can not make any more changes.

When I click "get rates" starting yesterday it appears to be working just fine within the limitations of the eBay calculator.
So what's the punch line?
It did start to work again, for a couple attempts .
Then this started to happen .......
It boots you out of the listing, search etc and back to main page

I do agree about the free shipping part.
But as I posted - it does/did seem to be working again on and off.
More off again now but they must be toying with it.

I'm sorry but your suggestion just makes too much sense.
We need to find a way to make it much more complicated.
Are you saying we can't just leave broken things broken and not fix them?
The next thing you'd be asking for is a request total link or someting on the App.
or a UI that is actually user friendly.
What would Ebay be without constant negative changes?
Some people are just never happy

Perhaps a more complicated way of sending in complaints about issues not being fixed would be to type them up using word and print them out. Take a usps flat rate box and fill it part way with used cat littler. Place your note in the box and finish filling it. Tape it up and go to your local post office. Then mail the box to Ebay for their techs to review the issue.

Also the old discount tire commercial of a old lady returning her tire by throwing it through their store window comes to mind.

Let me add you to the ticket.
