Switching between accounts

Hi: I sell on eBay for a nonprofit museum. I'm at their location on their desktop. Throughout the day, I need to switch between their two eBay ID's and for a while now, I'm not able to do that. When I go to switch accounts, the account ID I am using, and the password area is highlighted in blue. No matter what I do I can't delete that put in the other ID so I can't keep working.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

PS: I unchecked the "save this device" box.

Certainly sounds like  a browser issue.  The most convenient way to alternate between accounts is to have them open on separate browsers so you don't  have to sign out.

Thank you. The issue is that the museum's IT department will only allow the use of Google Chrome. 😞

As nobody*s_perfect suggested, using two different browsers is probably the best alternative to the cumbersome signing out and signing back in process. The actual credentials may be stored in the browser, so if you are having trouble entering new credentials or erasing old ones, you may want to delete the old saved information in your browser.

If for some reason adding another browser is not possible, in a pinch you should be able to open a private or incognito window using your current browser -- this will open a separate private session. You may have access to some stored form data, but you should be able to enter your own credentials which will not be saved once you close the private window.

the easiest way I know to switch between 2 accounts is using a different browser for each … that way it doesn't confuse eBay's cookies … and we all love cookies right???
