Submitting a complaint.

This is the third day I am unable to send a complaint regarding a vendor who simply changed his mind to send item because the final price was too low. I appear to have been blocked. Anyone else having this problem?

Re: Submitting a complaint.

What was the last estimated delivery date? Did you know you can open an item not received case if it's past?

Or are you saying the seller cancelled and you feel the reason they cancelled was that the price was too low?

They are  allowed to cancel; however, make sure the reason was not "buyer requested" and make sure you are refunded.

And sellers can block anyone they want, but they still need to do the right thing  in this situation before blocking.

Report this seller to ebay. Sounds like they blocked you.

Make sure you are using the correct seller username -- not the store name that may appear in the listing. Look at the seller's classic feedback page and copy the username from there to paste into the reporting form.

Re: Submitting a complaint.

You are in the UK posting on the US .com site.

Could you also be trying to complain to eBay about a seller and not using your home site?

Try logging out and logging into the UK site.

Not sure what complaining to eBay will do. eBay cant force a seller to complete the sale or to unblock you if you are blocked.

Re: Submitting a complaint.

An auction I presume?  You're probably better off not dealing with a seller that does what you describe.

You may have dodged a bullet so-to-speak and may have been wounded (so-to-speak) by a transaction gone sideways another way................

Re: Submitting a complaint.

He was clearly unhappy with the final price. For 4 days I have been trying to submit my complaint and on the 15 December informed PayPal and Ebay I would not accept a refund. They went ahead in any case, I believe because the vendor said the item was damaged! I cannot get his. details to take him to small claims court. It's a matter of principle - the time wasted - the item was to be a present and he makes Ebay regulations laughable!

4 days I have been trying to get my complaint to Ebay, I'm blocked! The message exchange speaks for itself.

Thanks, I never though about the main site address.

Re: Submitting a complaint.

Just move on to another seller.

No one can force this seller to send you the item.

Anyone can block anyone, for any reason or no reason at all.

The seller got a hit to his account for cancelling a sale, that is the most you can get out of it. Too many cancellations and a seller can get their account restricted. That already happened without you filing a complaint. Nothing more can be gained by you filing a complaint.
