This has been an issue for me for the past month. Numerous calls to customer service have resulted in no resolution. It's always the same script, and then a promise to call back, and then nothing.

Here's the problem. I run a Buy 1 get 1 25% off promotion. This has always appeared as a banner in the search results above "Fast and Free", with a little green dollar sign and then the offer. It went away, and my sales plummetted. Shortly after one call to customer service, my promotion appeared again, but only for a day, and then it was gone again.

I cannot seem to get anyone above a level 1 rep, who doesn't understand my issue, and cannot follow-through. This promotion drives my sales. It is absolutely insane that this cannot be fixed. I know it happened during some of their latest rollouts, but for every seller I have seen currently, their promotions show on the search results. Mine do not. I have obviously tried everything under the sun on my end, including ending and redoing them. Nothing gets them to show.

If it helps, I am currently not rolled into the new promotions manager nor guaranteed delivery.

Same here..they took away Markdown manager which worked just fine and replaced with Manage Promotions which is a nightmare for me.. launches a sale with no items in it..tried everything.

Called ebay 4 times now, Reps look at it and confirm glitch, only to read script..report to tech dept..blah blah blah.. NO ONE CALLS BACK..

1900 items in my store, top rated, 100% feedback for 4 years and cant even run a sale!

I have priced my items with the model of being able to put on sale and I can't ..

Ebay has taken away Markdown Manager completly on my site...

I have the same problem. I have tried changing the promotion, but alas, same problem is occurring. Would love to know if this could be resolved...

Ebay has taken away Markdown Manager completly on my site as well! I tried to run a sale and after I have selected the listings and setup everything, the Status on the listings say: "SKIPPED: Price". Is this happening to you as well?

I still have the old markdown manager. I can still run a sale, and even a promotion, but if it doesn't show up on the search results page, it does absolutely nothing to generate traffic.

What is extremely frustrating is that I have not heard from anyone at ebay that they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. Even after spending hours on the phone explaining clearly to a rep, I might get an email reply that my "promotions aren't guaranteed, they are based on your ad rate", which isn't my issue at all!

I feel it's a let down because I have changed my policies to conform to the 21st century marketplace as ebay has suggested. Free shipping, done. Top rated seller, done. Item specifics in the "form", done. Same day handling time, done. The list goes on. But these things were meant to get the most out of ebay and search placement, so when it does me no good, I feel I am at a competitive disadvantage. A lot of good changes here at ebay, and I am open to embracing them all, but many of them just aren't working as intended.

The promotion will only show up sometimes or for some listings. I think it all depends on what store you have too. From my own experience, the promotion can't run forever or for a long time. It completely stops showing up after a little bit if you do. I had a promotion of free shipping on orders over $12.99 that had an end date of Dec, 2020. It showed up for a bit and disappeared completely for a few years. I've started to run shorter promotions that go about 1-2 months now and it shows up about 80% of the time, but I have the anchor store so that could be the reason too.

Having the same problem and now seeing the same message "Skipped : Price"
Appears to be very adhoc, loaded the sale on a week ago for a couple of days and it all worked fine, now tried reloading it and the message again appears on all loaded promotions.
The issue with the new promotions has already been going on for at least 6 weeks. Very strange that Ebay doesnt appear to be doing anything about this or come out with any announcements !
