Something changed with the default shipment "USPS Priority Mail" vs "USPS First-Class Package"

Something changed this afternoon with the default shipping method being the most expensive option as selected by default.  I'm in such a habit of hitting purchase that I'm lucky to catch the more than double the cost option for something that weighs 2 ounces.... 

Is this happening to anyone else?  Doesn't seem to be an issue with bulk shipments,  just the individually selected ones.

same for me too but my shipping has more problems than that

That has been popping up on mine, but mostly self induced.

I got tired of eBay doing GD "fast 'n free" with unreasonably short estimated delivery, so I changed to 1 cent economy shipping (parcel select) which causes eBay to display "Priority" when getting to the label.  So far I have managed to switch to 1st Class before paying for a label.

I called yesterday its happening on only one of my accounts, rep said there was nothing reported, I did a search on the boards and this was reported 2 weeks ago. I've never used FEDEX and it keeps clicking on it or priority mail. Scared I'm going miss it and print out the wrong label.
